Melbourne Shipping Containers supplies and delivers 20ft shipping containers to a range of industries in Victoria.
We have a wide selection of both new, second hand and refurbished containers for sale. Each one of our storage units has been inspected by a marine surveyor to ensure your container is weatherproof and ready for use.
Available in both Standard (8’6”) and High Cube (9’6”) sizes, 20 footers provide a multitude of uses, ideal for shipping, storage or modification. You’re welcome to visit our depot, inspect and select individual containers or we can arrange photographs to be sent to you.
20ft New
New Build or One Trip 20ft containers have been used once to ship cargo into Australia. They may arrive in near new condition with only minor scuffs or marks from transit but typically have no damage. Measuring 6.06m in length x 2.44m wide x 2.50m high or 2.59m (H) in high cube, they provide 33 cubic metres of storage space. Ideal for secure on site storage, office or workspace, container conversions and any project where a clean interior is important. All one trip units will come complete with a standard fitted lock box and have been inspected by our marine surveyors. Available in standard size (8’6”) and high cubes 9’6”)
20ft Used SHIPPING CONTAINERS
Used 20ft shipping containers are generally released from shipping lines after approximately 10-15+ years of service. They will show signs of wear and tear including rust, dents, scratches and patches. This is normal and does not affect their structural integrity or weatherproofing. All used units are inspected by our qualified marine surveyors and sold wind tight, water tight and vermin proof. We stock a range from budget grade through to A Grade containers, with pricing varying by age and condition. Ideal for general storage, workshops, site sheds and budget conscious projects where appearance is less important.
20ft Refurbished – Interior and/or Exterior
Our refurbish 20ft shipping containers start life as used units and are brought back to life in our Melbourne workshop. An interior refurbishment includes a fresh coat of paint and sanded floor.
Exterior painting can also be arranged at additional cost. They will get a light sand, prime and top coat to a color bond range. We can also arrange company logos or even put you in touch with a graffiti artist.
20ft High Cube (HC)
High cube shipping containers are one foot taller than the standard height and are ideal for when you need that extra headspace. Measuring 2.89m (9’6”) high, the additional height allows more space for packing and is the preferred choice for container conversions but still perfect for everyday storage use.
They are available used/secondhand, refurbished and new.
