HOW OUR 10FT ROLLER DOOR CONTAINERS ARE MADE
1. SELECT THE CONTAINER
We start by selecting and hand picking a suitable used shipping container for the conversion. (Noting new options are also avaiable for additional fee)
2. CUT TO 10FT
The container is professionally cut down to create the compact 10ft size.
3. FABRICATE & WELD
The new sections are fabricated and fully welded into position, including the steel framing required for the roller door opening. Our frames are fully welded rather than tack welded providing a strong professional finish.
4. PREPARE & PAINT
The container is prepared by sanding and undercoating before being painted in your chosen colour.
5. FIT THE ROLLER DOOR
Once the painting is complete, a new roller door is fitted to the prepared and reinforced opening.
6. FINAL CHECKS
The completed container is given a quick floor tidy before leaving our Melbourne workshop. We also provide a small touch-up tin of paint for any minor marks or scratches that may occur during transport.
COLOUR OPTIONS
Our 10ft roller door containers can be finished in a range of colours, with Woodland Grey, Monument Grey, Pale Eucalyptus and White among our most popular choices. We can also attempt to colour match a specific colour on request. Please note that container paint and Colorbond® finishes are different products, so an exact colour match cannot always be guaranteed.
Choose a colour to suit your site, business or existing buildings. Either match the roller door to the container for a co-ordinated finish or choose a contrasting colour to create a different look.
